Drum Fight

Drum Fight is a drum performance competition produced by Music School Inc. The event is open to drummers of all ages and skill levels and gives our students an amazing opportunity to perform onstage. The event has been held every year at Long Island's premier concert venue The Crazy Donkey to sold out attendance. Drummers compete and winners are selected in one of four competition categories: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Pro. Special guest judges from the drum community determine the winners of the competition and provide criticism to contestants in a supportive environment. Past judges include: Carmine Appice of Vanilla Fudge, Librety Devito of Billy Joel's touring band, Michael McDermott of the Bouncing Souls, Francis Mark of From Autumn To Ashes, Derjache Lange of Glassjaw/Saves The Day, and Mike Smith of Suffocation. Contestants have a chance to win thousands in prizes from top brands such as GMS, Evans, Vic Firth, Sam Ash, Modern Drummer, Zildjian and more.
